Directions from the NORTH:
Take the motorway A1
Milan - Rome following the
signs to Rome then coming off the motorway at "Firenze Certosa".
Follow the motorway signed Firenze - Siena towards Siena.
Exit when you see the sign for
Colle di Val d'Elsa. You must then
follow the directions for Volterra,
at about 13 Km from
Colle di Val d'Elsa turn left for
Spicchiaiola. "Il Picchio" can be
found at about 3Km along the
winding road.

SOUTH:
Take the motorway A1
Rome - Milan following the
signs to Milan then coming off
the motorway at Valdichiana. Follow the signs for Siena.
Take the motorway
Siena - Firenze towards Firenze.
Exit when you see the sign for
Colle di Val d'Elsa. Follow
the directions for Volterra
then about 13 Km from
Colle di Val d'Elsa turn left
when you see the sign for
Spicchiaiola. "Il Picchio" can
be found at about 3 Km along
the winding road.
